Angel, Giving Hope To The Hopeless

My theme this year for the A to Z Challenge is the people, places and things that have shaped my life and there have been a handful of television shows that have help develop me into the man I am today. One of those shows is Joss Whedon’s Angel. The tale of one of the vilest creatures that ever lived turned vampire with a soul who  stopped the apocalypse. A redemption story for the ages.

Think about that for a moment, a vampire with a soul! In my opinion Whedon’s character is a perfect narrative of humanity. We all are simultaneously capable of good and evil. Angelus is the monster within us all.

Angel shows us all that the monster can be kept in its cage. That we all can be heroes, even the worst of us can redeem ourselves and be a Champion.

A to Z Theme Reveal

I’m relatively new to the blogging world, but so far I’ve enjoyed my brief time here. Between working a full time job and helping my infinitely better half raise our two delightful leaches writing 6 posts per week will be a challenge for me, but I’ll give it a go.

Without much fanfare, if any, I give you my A to Z theme.

Peoples, places and things that have shaped my life.
